Privacy policy
Privacy Policy
CNC LiftArm B.V. respects your privacy and handles personal data with care. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have.
Personal data we process
We may process personal data that you provide when you contact us, request a quote, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter or use our support services. This may include your name, company name, address, telephone number, email address, VAT number, correspondence and information about your application, including photographs or drawings that you provide.
When you visit our website, we may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser information and website usage data.
Why we use your data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries, recommend suitable CNC LiftArm solutions, prepare quotations, process orders, arrange delivery and provide warranty and technical support.
We may also use your data to maintain our business relationship, improve our website and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the purpose, processing is based on your consent, the performance of a contract, a legal obligation or our legitimate interests in operating our business.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may send you product updates and information about events. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. A contact or quotation request does not automatically constitute consent to receive marketing emails.
How long we retain your data
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary. Enquiries that do not result in an agreement are normally retained for no longer than one year.
Customer and order records are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil contractual obligations, provide warranty or support and comply with applicable law. Financial and administrative records are retained for the statutory period, including seven years where required under Dutch tax law.
Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe, unless another lawful basis requires us to retain certain information.
Sharing personal data
We only share personal data where necessary to operate our business, fulfil an agreement or comply with a legal obligation. This may include IT and hosting providers, accounting and email services, transport companies, and authorised dealers or service partners.
Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, we put appropriate contractual and security arrangements in place, including a data processing agreement where required.
For enquiries, orders or support outside Europe, relevant information may be shared with our authorised partners in the region.
International transfers
Some service providers or business partners may be located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure that the transfer complies with applicable data protection law and, where required, is based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to make our website work properly, remember preferences, understand website usage and, where applicable, measure advertising.
Necessary cookies are always active. Statistics and marketing cookies that require consent are only activated after you have given consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time through the cookie settings on our website.
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to help us understand website usage and manage website tags. Depending on your cookie preferences, these services may process technical information and online identifiers. For more information, please refer to Google’s privacy information.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data. You may also have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, request data portability and withdraw your consent.
You can exercise your rights by contacting info@cncliftarm.com. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We will respond without undue delay and, in principle, within one month.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure. These include secure website connections, access controls and appropriate security arrangements with service providers.
If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us.
